Augmented Reality App for Ford Focus in Germany

Test driving of the new Ford Focus is available online now. Brought to you powered by augmented reality. Ford in Germany is using augmented reality for a brand campaign to create a virtual experience and to show the dynamics and the variety of technologies of the new Ford Focus. In cooperation with the creative agency Wunderman and the media agency Mindshare the online marketer Ströer Interactive published an interactive ad format, where users can control a Ford Focus with a 10-euro note as a steering wheel replacement on a race track.

To be honest: The driving experience is of the app is nothing new, but if you complete the race track you can see what the features of the new Ford Focus are. If you have no 10-euro note you also can use your keyboard. Have a look at the app here.


If you finish the race track you receive a report. You can replay or signup for a real life test drive.
